Making Money Selling Amazon Returns

Did you know that you could make money by reselling the stuff people return on Amazon? This article will discuss how you can make money by reselling the stuff that people return on Amazon.

What are reselling products? If you are like me, you probably buy a lot of products on Amazon.

One of the things that I hate the most is when I buy a product that doesn’t live up to my expectations. Many of us do this all the time.

In the U.S., we have a company called L&L Sales that works to help make it easy for people to resell the products they buy on Amazon.

Selling used products is nothing new. However, what if you could turn the things people return on Amazon into money.

That is exactly what L&L does.

So how do you start making money reselling products on Amazon?

The simplest way to make money by reselling returned products is to use an online platform that accepts returns.

The place to do this is eBay.

There are several different ways to sell on eBay. However, this is what I recommend for beginners:

  • Use an eBay mobile app. You can use one of these: Sell on eBay: a user-friendly shopping app for mobile phones
  • Use their website. However, this is more for seasoned eBay sellers
  • Use either their eBay.com or eBay Mobile apps. These are great for mobile devices.

However, the 3rd option is a bit trickier. If you are new to eBay, you will have to sign up for an account.

A new seller must create a username and password. You will also have to create an eBay seller ID.

This is what you will enter to check your return inventory. You will then be able to upload a photo of the item that you are returning.

You can also upload a picture of the packaging.

If you are returning a Lifestyle, eBay will allow you to add an inventory photo. However, some sellers will still need to upload a photo of the packaging.

This is because the products that can be returned come from a wide variety of brands.

How long does it take to sell an item?

It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for your item to sell. This is what happened to me when I started reselling items on eBay.

However, this can be slightly longer for certain items. It usually takes about 1-2 months.

As for how much it will cost you to sell an item, let’s say you buy an item for $200. However, you bought the item on Amazon for $100.

You then list it on eBay for $50.

1. Understand the eBay process.

The first thing you should do is learn how the eBay process works. This is important because it will help you when you are selling.

You should always be in the mindset of making a sale. If you are trying to buy, you will never be able to sell.

I actually have a very simple process that I use when listing an item on eBay.

I first see if I can buy the item If I can't buy it, I list the item.

If the item sells, I end up making the $200 that I paid for it. If the item doesn't sell, I may try to sell it.

2. Use the right keywords.

Another thing you should do when you are listing an item is to use the right keywords. This is important because it will help you when you are searching for the item in search engines.

However, what this really boils down to is being prepared.

You have to know what keywords you should be using to optimize your search engine results pages (SERPs). The most important keyword is the one you are trying to rank for.

When you are selling, you want to choose keywords that people will search for. For example, you want people to search for:

  • Stuff you can buy online
  • Video games on sale
  • Top Ten Video Games

Once you have a listing, you will want to tag your post to get more exposure to people searching for that item.

The more tags you add, the more targeted people are going to be when they search for that item.

Tip: I recommend tagging it once. This will increase the number of tags that it has so that you are in the search engine rankings when people are searching.

3. Be consistent

Remember that eBay works based on repeat buyers and sellers. The way you make the most money on eBay is by consistently selling the same type of item.

If you are selling items that people have already bought, then you are more likely to get the maximum amount you can for it.

This is actually one of the main reasons why you shouldn't have more than one listing on an item. That's because you are losing potential money.

I think of it like this. The people that buy items on eBay are already shopping for items. Therefore, they won't buy another one that they have already bought.

A single listing is enough to get the maximum amount of money for it.

It is better to have one listing with a lot of tags than having 10 listings. It's better to have 10 listings that all have one common tag.

4. Be transparent

One thing you should do before you start selling on eBay is to be transparent. This means that you want to be open and honest.

You don't want to start a post with:

"P.S. I'm selling my X item and I think that I can get $100. If you would like to buy it, please reply to this email and I will give you the tracking information."

Instead, you should start your post by writing about what you are selling:

"This is a X item. It has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now. This has allowed me to evaluate the condition of it and create a good value.

I have the customer support email you provided and I have included it in the listing. Please let me know if you would like to make me an offer.

I will keep it until 8 PM PST tonight and I will send you the item and a tracking number as soon as I hear back from you. Sincerely, [Your name]."

I always include the contact email and a tracking number in my listings.

If I am not responding to the buyer's email, they will often write me back to say that they have asked their friend to contact me.

I always reply to the email to make it clear that I am only willing to sell the item for the price I am asking.

This is how I make the most money on eBay.
